Network Me (now Chatter), a leader in niche social networks, began working with Shaun Pinney Studios in 2008 to develop a brand language for their concept of targeted social network communities.
Network Me wanted a brand that instantly represented the subject matter of each of the sites in their 100+ catalogue. Shaun Pinney Studios began by researching each social network subject and interviewing potential users to determine key brand images. The final products were clean, simple and clear brand identities.
Having launched only a handful of networks, in its debut first three months, Chatter carved out a small but significant niche in the social networking market by signing up over 60,000 members.
